Yes. The ultimate treatment for healing and cleansing. Nasya is an ancient Ayurvedic nasal treatment that combines a head, neck and shoulder massage with organic aromatherapy products and the application of warmed herbal oil to the nasal cavity.

In Ayurvedic tradition, the nose is considered the ‘door to your brain’ and consciousness. It makes sense then that Nasya treatment has been used to treat a variety of health concerns including:

• Stress

• Memory loss

• Migraines,

• Insomnia

• Sinusitis and other sinus issues (post nasal drip etc)

• Tinnitus

Nasya uses a herbal blend called ‘Anu Thailam’, a potent combination of 24 herbs that are boiled for 72 hours to create a smooth emulsion.  Anu Thailam encourages the nasal cavity to expel toxin filled mucous while penetrating the area and killing harmful bacteria. It is thought that the cleansing of the nasal passages helps heal the brain and nervous system while restoring balance and the free flow of prana (life energy) into our body.

It’s due to the positive health benefits of Nasya that it is included as a fundamental part of ‘Panchakarma’ or Ayurvedic detox.

After being greeted by your therapist, your 30-minute treatment will commence in our beautifully warmed treatment room. With the soothing sounds of Gandharva (a soothing traditional style of Indian music) playing, your face, neck, head and shoulders will be gently massaged using warm herbal oil. Anu Thailam will then be applied to the nasal cavity. After the completion of your treatment, you’ll be shown to the specially designed meditation space to sip a freshly brewed herbal tea and rest quietly as your body and mind recalibrates after treatment.

This treatment of massage helps promote the elimination of toxins while enhancing healing. Other benefits include:

• Improved mental clarity

• Clear sinuses and ears

• Better sleep patterns

• Reduction in mucous production
